Tata Harrier EV and Tata Curvv EV Coming in FY25, Tata Sierra EV and Tata Avinya EV in FY26; Launch Timeline Announced: Report
New Delhi, June 11:┬аTata is set to launch four electric cars by FY26 and bring customers the┬аlatest technologies and modern features. Tata electric┬аvehicles (EVs) have been available in the Indian market at lower prices┬аthan the competition with much desired features.┬аAccording to recent reports, Tata Motors has been working on expanding its EV┬аcharging network and introducing new models like Tata Harrier EV, Tata Sierra EV, Tata Curvv EV, and Tata Avniya EV. As per a new report, the launch┬аtimeline of these models has been announced.

Besides launching new EVs in India, Tata Motors is expected to expand its┬аpublic charging network to 1,00,000 chargers from the current 10,000 numbers. Moreover, the company announced that it would expand the community charging network to 1,00,000 from the current estimated 4,300 numbers.
The┬аannouncement of Tata Motors┬аalso confirmed that the upcoming┬аelectric cars would feature high energy density batteries, allowing people to enjoy fast charging. The Harrier, Curvv, Sierra and Avinya┬аEVs would also have high-performance electric motors and four-wheel drive (4WD) drivetrains.┬а
Features, Upgrades on Upcoming Tata EVs in FY25 and FY25
The report said that the upcoming┬аTata Motors┬аelectric┬аvehicles would┬аrun on an EV-specific interface and offer┬аnew displays in terms of features. Tata Curvv EV coming in FY25 is expected to offer up to 500 kilometres claimed range on the top model. The lower┬аspec version, on the other hand, is scheduled with less range. The report also┬аsuggested that Tata Motors had already filed Tata Sierra EV’s┬аdesign patent. This SUV is expected to have to have a 4×4 system and an electric all-drive (AWD) system. Further, the Tata Avinya EV is expected to have claimed a 500-kilometre range featuring dual┬аelectric motors. Each of these motors┬аwould power one axle and┬аtake the power to all four car wheels. The report also hinted at a quad-motor setup in the works.
