Anupamaa and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai are two shows any actor would love to be a part of. Actor Gaurav Sharma who is the new Paritosh (Toshu) Shah in the serials is glad to have such a golden run on the medium. But like every actor he too is greedy for more. Gaurav Sharma has done work in TV, web series and films. He says the medium is immaterial to him. When we asked him about his dream projects, he said he would like to do something like a Mirzapur or 12th Fail. Gaurav Sharma admits that 2024 has brought good tidings for him. Gaurav Sharma said he just followed his heart and left the rest to God. He told us, ”

I have made mistakes while choosing work in past but those taught me a lot of things. Thankfully, 2024 has brought me a lot of good things including my first film release, joining two of the leading ITV shows (YRKKH and Anupamaa) and a couple of films and web series in the pipeline. Gaurav Sharma is the new Toshu of Anupamaa

The OG Toshu actor Aashish Mehrotra is now in Romania for Khatron Ke Khiladi 14. He got a lot of love for his terrific performance as the flawed selfish son on the show. Gaurav Sharma tells us, “I was not nervous. But Aashish had played Toshu for four long years. It was a bit challenging. However, the directors and entire unit helped me get into the groove.”

He says that acting is fun, but is a tough job. Hence, actors need to work on their craft. He opines, “There are things that we cannot control, like the environment around us.
