Mumbai, October 26: The upcoming assembly elections in Maharashtra will see a direct fight between the ruling MahaYuti comprising the BJP, the Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena, and Ajit Pawar’s National Congress Party and the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) alliance consisting of Shiv Sena (UBT), Congress and the National Congress Party-Sharad Pawar. The 288-member Maharashtra assembly will go to poll on Wednesday, November 20, with the vote counting and declaration of results taking place on Saturday, November 23.
