Muzaffarnagar (Uttar Pradesh), March 27: Many incidents of women trying to kill their husbands have surfaced in the recent past, including the infamous Meerut murder case. These incidents have led to many memes like, “Pura Mard Samaj Dara Hua Hai” and “Blue Drum” have filled the internet. In a similar incident has emerged from Bhangela village in Uttar Pradesh’s Muzaffarnagar, where a woman allegedly tried to poison her husband by mixing poison in his coffee. The victim’s sister has filed a police complaint, demanding action against her sister-in-law.
Details About The Incident
According to Meenakshi, a resident of Bhangela, her brother Anuj got married two years ago to Shanno, a woman from Farrukhabad. She claims that since the marriage, Shanno had been troubling Anuj and his entire family. There are also reports that there have been frequent quarrels between the couple for the past few days.
On Tuesday (March 25), Shanno allegedly mixed poison in Anuj’s coffee with the intention of killing him. As soon as Anuj drank the coffee, his health deteriorated rapidly. He was rushed to a private hospital in Meerut, where doctors confirmed that he had consumed poison. His condition remains critical and he is still undergoing treatment.
Sister Seeks Justice
Meenakshi has requested the police to take strict action against Shanno. The police have initiated an investigation into the case to determine the facts.
This incident has come to light just days after another shocking murder case in Meerut, where a wife allegedly killed her husband. Fortunately, in this case, the alleged attempt was not successful and the husband is still fighting for his life in the hospital.
The police are currently collecting evidence and will take further action based on the investigation’s findings. A case of attempted murder has been registered against the wife on the complaint of the family. The police will be able to tell the reason for the wife doing this only after investigation.
