A temporary gate collapsed at a cultural event in West Bengal today, July 24. The incident occurred at Dhono Dhanyo Auditorium in Kolkata. West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee was also attending the event when the incident occurred. As per news agency ANI, several people were injured after the temporary gate collapsed. Meanwhile, the injured were rushed to a nearby hospital. It is reported that the Information and Cultural Affairs Department organised the event to mark the 44th death anniversary of actor Uttam Kumar.
