Sadly, the brutal war inflicted upon Ukraine isnтАЩt restricted to spreading its misery among the human population alone.

Thousands of much-loved pets are being abandoned at the Ukrainian border because families fleeing the horrors of their besieged homeland donтАЩt have the necessary paperwork for their cats and dogs (and anything else on four legs).

Some pets are even being left tied to lamp-posts as their owners depart in the hope of finding a better life away from the hell-hole that their country has become.

ItтАЩs heartbreak on four legs, as anyone who worships their pets will already imagine.

Their thoughts will be filled with dark images of their faithful, beloved, furry buddies left alone and confused, being badly treated, subjected to brutality and coming to harm.

So well done to us animal-loving Brits and our government for promising that all ┬нrefugees arriving under the Homes for Ukraine scheme will be welcomed WITH their pets, even if the creatures have no record of ┬нvaccinations or microchips.

All of their care in quarantine will also be paid for by us.

ArenтАЩt we amazing? But we are, after all, a nation of animal lovers.

LetтАЩs hope our two-legged friends тАУ human beings тАУ are shown respect and love too.

They will be in need of care and hospitality during this ┬нhideously unnecessary conflict, dreamed up by a nasty, brutal, bald, unattractive little man, with a twisted mind and serious problems.

He could do with a pet dog to sniff out his evil and bury it. A dog trained to bite if Putin goes anywhere near a glass of vodka and a gun in a crowded area.
