Ola CEO Bhavish Aggarwal denied offering the dealerships to the people directly in response to a post that said the EV company was going on a “dealership route”. Bhavish Aggarwal said, “We don’t do dealerships.” He said the reason his company would not go that route was because the dealership model was the “relic of the past”. However, he said those in the dealer business could join Ola Electric and become the company’s partners.
