32′ CHANCE! Denmark all over Wales now. Once again, it’s Damsgaard. He plays a little one-two on the left before slipping it to Dolberg, whose shot from the byline is parried away by Ward

27′ GOOOOALLL!! DENMARK ON THE BOARD THROUGH DOLBERG. A great finish into the bottom right corner from the edge of the box. The stadium erupts. The VAR checked the goal whether Martin Braithwaite, who was next to the goalkeeper, was off-side. The goal stands.

Coming to the goal, Maehle and Damsgaard combine brilliantly on the left and the latter then threads a beautiful pass to Dolberg, who takes a touch to his right, wide of the two defenders and finishes brilliantly.

18′ CORNER! Damsgaard fights and on the slide, feeds the ball to Dolberg, who fails to put in a threatening cross to the box. Eventually, Maehle is played to on the left and as he looks to square the ball from the byline, the ball is blocked by Connor Roberts. First corner for Denmark.

10′ WOW! Gareth Bale comes close to scoring. Bale sends a shot drifting wide of the far upright after Dan James had made room for him to shoot with a smart decoy run. It was a left-footed effort from Bale after cutting inside from the right but he didn’t get enough curl on it.
