A grandmother from country Victoria will spend a month behind bars in South Australia after she was arrested for breaching border rules.
Pauline Briggs was arrested at the Pullman Hotel in Adelaide yesterday after telling police she was a South Australian resident.
Briggs broke down crying in court when she was told she would be jailed for a month.
Through tears, she told the court she made a mistake and it was stupid, pleading guilty to the charges.
Her co-accused Colby Higgins and Tammy Bustard also faced court, they didn’t apply for bail and will remain behind bars until they face court again next week.
