Eight people were taken to hospital after a vehicle lost control and crashed into a group of spectators during a mud track race in Fabens, El Paso County, on June 13. Local reports citing authorities said one of the vehicles, “due to unknown reasons,” left the mud track and broke through the guard rail, injuring at least 29 spectators and hitting three other vehicles.
