New Delhi, September 30:  This month, we saw many new cars and bikes launched in the Indian automobile market by several companies. September 2024 has been a month when the companies announced several of their new models. Some upcoming cars and bikes in India have their launch dates confirmed, while others are expected or rumoured to introduce vehicles in October 2024. So, all the new models arriving during the festive season will offer a wide range of choices in terms of bikes and cars.

Last month, the new car models launched in India included the Tata Curvv ICE version, Tata Curvv EV  Rolls-Royce Cullinan Series II, Black Badge Cullinan Series II, Mercedes Maybach EQS, MG Windsor EV, 2024 MG Astor Blackstorm, 2024 MG Hector Snowstorm Editions, Tata Nexon iCNG and a few others. In terms of two-wheelers, the models included the 2024 Yamaha R15M, MT-15 V2 MotoGP, 2024 TVS Apache RR 310, Triumph Speed T4, Revolt RV1 and affordable TVS Raider 125 Drum Brake variant, among others. Nissan Magnite Facelift Official Bookings Open, Launch Set on October 4; Check Details.

Upcoming Car Launches in October 2024

In October 2024, several new models are set to make their debut in India, including Nissan Magnite Facelift, Kia EV9, Kia Carnival and more. Besides these confirmed models, some new SUVs, sedans, facelifts, hatchbacks, MPVs and cars in other categories will be launched.   • Kia EV9: South Korean automobile company will launch its next Kia EV9, a six-seater electric vehicle, in India on October 3, 2024. It is expected to offer up to 560 km range on a single charge. Additionally, it will feature Trinity Panoramic Display, dual-sunroof and more. It is expected to house a 99.8kWh battery, which can be charged up to 80% in 24 minutes. It will have major changes on the exterior, including a new grille, LED headlamps, 360-degree camera and a more comfortable and equipped interior.
  • Kia Carnival: The upcoming Kia Carnival is an MPV that is set to launch in India on October 3, 2024. The limousine will offer next-gen features to customers looking for comfort and luxurious features. It will get a new exterior, LED headlights, LED taillights, bumpers, and large 19-inch gloss black alloy wheels. It is expected to have a 12.3-inch infotainment system and digital instrument cluster. It will be available in 3.5-litre petrol, 1.6-litre petrol-hybrid, and 2.2-litre diesel options.
  • Mahindra Thar ROXX 4×4: The bookings for the new Mahindra Thar ROXX 4×4 will begin on October 3, 2024, and the deliveries will start this Dussehra. This off-road SUV is available at a starting price of INR 18.79 lakh and goes up to INR 22.49 lakh, both ex-showroom prices. The Thar ROXX 4×4 is available in multiple colours and features a 2.2L mHawk diesel engine. The MT variant puts out 111.9 kW and 330 Nm of torque, and the AT variant churns 128.6 kW and 370 Nm of torque.
  • Nissan Magnite: The new Nissan Magnite Facelift will be launched on October 4 in India with an updated exterior including headlights, grille design, redesigned 16-inch allow wheels, bumper and much more. It will feature a 1.0-litre NA engine offering a maximum of 71 bhp power and 96 Nm torque with a five-speed automatic transmission. It will also come with a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine churning 99 bhp maximum power and 160 Nm torque with a five-speed manual transmission and also CVT.  Booking for Magnite Facelift already started, and deliveries are set to begin on October 5.
  • BYD eMAX 7: BYD Auto is set to launch its next EV in India, the eMAX 7, a facelifted version of the e6 MPV. The BYD eMAX will be launched on October 8. The bookings have already started. The first 1,000 customers will get INR 51,000 in benefits.
  • 2024 Mercedes-Benz E-Class LWB: Mercedes-Benz India is set to introduce a new sixth-generation model, the Mercedes-Benz E-Class LWB, in India, likely in the second week of October 2024. It is estimated to arrive on October 9 or 10. More details are yet to be revealed.
  • BMW M3 is also expected to launch next month, but the company has yet to reveal the date or details.

Upcoming Bike Launches in October 2024

In October 2024, new bikes and two-wheelers are set to make their way into the Indian market. The upcoming bikes include the BMW CE 02, TVS Zeppelin, Honda CRF300L, Hero Xoom 160 and more. Most of the motorcycles or scooters are expected rather than confirmed.   • BMW CE 02: BMW Motorrad confirmed to launch its new electric scooter, the BMW CE 02, in India on October 1, 2024 (tomorrow). It will feature a 3.92kWh battery that will generate 15 hp power and 55 Nm peak torque. BMW CE 02 will offer up to 108 km claimed range on a single charge.
  • Hero Xoom 160: Hero’s new scooter, the Xoom 160, has been anticipated to launch in India for months. However, according to several sources, it may finally arrive in the country in October 2024. It is expected to offer 14 bhp power and 13.7 Nm peak torque.
  • Honda CRF300L: The upcoming HONDA CRF300L is expected this month, according to AutoX, with a 286cc liquid-cooled engine providing 27 bhp power and 27 Nm torque.

Besides the above two-wheelers, motorcycle companies may introduce some of their new petrol or electric models in India with completely new designs or inspired by the previous models. October 2024 is also the month to get motorcycles, scooters, cars, and EVs at discounted rates and offers.
