UP Police Constable Recruitment 2024 Re-Exam Dates Announced, Check New Schedule for Police Bharti Exam
Lucknow, July 25: The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has announced the re-exam date for the Police Bharti exam on Thursday, July 25. The exam will be re-conducted in August. Reportedly, the exam was earlier cancelled due to a paper leak. Additionally, candidates appearing for the exams are eligible for a free bus facility.
The UP Police Bharti exam 2024, which was initially scheduled for February 17 and 18, was cancelled due to a paper leak. Following the cancellation of the Police Constable examination, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath directed that it will be conducted again in six months. The state government also issued a detailed guideline on July 19 regarding various exam-related arrangements, such as preparation, verification, and selection for the examination. This recruitment drive seeks to fill 60,244 vacancies for the position of constable in the Civil Police. The UP Police Bharti 2024 re-exam is set to take place on August 23, 24, 25, 30, and 31 across the state. The exam will be conducted in two shifts each day, with around 5 lakh students participating in each shift. The schedule accounts for a break in the exam dates to accommodate the Janmashtami celebration. Students appearing for the exam are eligible for free bus travel provided by the Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation. They can use this service as needed by showing two additional copies of their admissions card. One for travelling to the exam centre’s district and one for the return journey.
