Two NSW motorists caught driving the wrong way on major roads

Two New South Wales drivers have been caught performing dangerous maneuvers on a couple of the busiest roads in the state.

Oncoming traffic had to swerve to avoid a car as it went the wrong way down the road on the Central Coast.

The red Mazda was filmed driving directly into oncoming traffic down the Pacific Highway in the Newcastle suburb of Hexham.

Footage shot by a passenger in a car in the correct lane shows the Mazda travelling at substantial speed.

A concrete barrier separated the Mazda from the correct lane of the highway.

"Hey, yo," the cameraman can be heard exclaiming.

NSW Police said nobody has reported the incident to them.
