Emergency services were called to Top End Safari Camp, about 90 minutes from Darwin, at about 11.15am today when an airboat reportedly crashed with 12 people on board.
Two female passengers, aged 43 and 54, suffered head and leg injuries.
They were taken to Royal Darwin Hospital via Careflight and St John Ambulance.
The women both remain in stable conditions but it is unclear the extent of their injuries or how they sustained them.
In a statement obtained by 9News, Top End Safari Camp said: “Earlier today there was an incident at Sweets Lagoon which resulted in two individuals requiring medical assistance.”
“We will be working with authorities to review the incident in due course.
“At the moment our focus is exclusively on supporting those passengers and staff involved.”
The airboat is a popular attraction for both Territorians and tourists offered at the Top End Safari Camp.
The camp offers a scenic flight over the Litchfield region followed by what it describes as a “thrilling airboat ride” around the rainforest spotting wild crocs and other animals.
Police and NT Worksafe are both in attendance on-site to determine how this incident unfolded.
