The actress was scheduled to attend a FICCI FLO (Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry Ladies Organization) event focussed on women empowerment. However, her alleged failure to appear caused significant disruption and disappointment. In a powerful demonstration of their disapproval, several individuals were seen defacing Triptii’s posters at the event venue. Reportedly, despite assurances that she would arrive, Triptii failed to appear, leaving the event cancelled. The organisers, who had paid INR 5.5 lakh for her appearance, expressed their intention to take legal action against the actress for breach of contract. Triptii Dimri’s Statement Over Jaipur Event Fiasco
The actress’s spokesperson stated that Triptii Dimri attended all the events she was scheduled to participate in during her visit to Jaipur. “During the ongoing promotional campaign for her film Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, Triptii Dimri fully honoured her professional obligations, attending all scheduled events and sessions related to the film.”
The statement also denied the organisers’ claim that Triptii Dimri charged any fees for her Jaipur event. “Notably, she did not participate or commit to participate in any personal appearances or events beyond her promotional duties. It’s important to clarify that no additional fees or payments were accepted for her involvement in these activities,” it reads.
Meanwhile, workwise, Triptii Dimri is busy promoting her next Vicky Aur Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, which co-stars Rajkummar Rao. The film also stars Mallika Sherawat, Vijay Raaz in key roles and is scheduled to release in theatres on October 11, 2024. Apart from this, she also has Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 in her kitty.
