ACU Senior Research Fellow Dr Kevin Donnelly says the cultural left has тАЬtaken controlтАЭ with the new proposed changes to the Australian school curriculum.
The proposed changes come following a review ordered by the Morrison government in 2020.
The changes have caused a тАЬstirтАЭ, including the тАЬelevation of Indigenous studiesтАЭ across a number of subjects and the removal of the study of Ancient Rome and Greece from the Year 7 history syllabus, according to Sky News host Peta Credlin.
Dr Donnelly told Ms Credlin there currently seems to be тАЬa lack of understandingтАЭ and an тАЬunwillingnessтАЭ to get involved in the battle of ideas from both Labor and Liberal governments.
