He described her as not only stunning but also a true delight on set. “She is of course stunning but an absolute pleasure to have on set as your actor. She is sharp, relaxed and born for the camera. Her eyes have tales to tell. She has so much to offer as an actor. During the same interview, when director Hansal Mehta was asked about genres he has yet to explore, he expressed a strong desire to delve into new territories. ‘I desperately want to make a relationship film, a love story. A musical. Dying to get an opportunity to do that,” he said.
Hansal Mehta’s The Buckingham Murders stars Kareena Kapoor Khan as a grieving police officer. After the tragic murder of her own child, she relocates to a new town and takes on the investigation of another missing child. Produced by Ektaa R Kapoor, the film features an ensemble cast including Ranveer Brar, Prabhleen Sandhu, Ash Tandon, Sarah Jane Dias and Keith Allen. The movie, which released in theatres on September 13, reportedly made a modest start, earning INR 1.15 crore on its opening day.
