Addressing a meeting of the seven-party Mahagathbandhan here, Nitish said, “I am not a candidate for the prime minister’s post. Most of the political parties want to dislodge the BJP from the seat of power in Delhi in 2024. I am trying to unite political parties against the BJP. …. We have decided to take Tejashwi forward in the 2025 assembly polls. The next assembly election will be contested under the leadership of Tejashwi.”
Earlier on Monday while addressing a meeting at Paithna-Bhagan Bigha village in Nalanda district, Nitish categorically said that he had done a lot of development work in Nalanda, his home district. “If there is anything left to do in the future, then Tejashwi will keep working and will get it all done,” Nitish told the people of Nalanda district.
While turning towards the RJD leader, Nitish further said, “Tejashwi is here, I have done whatever I could to take him forward, I will take him even further ahead. You all can see and understand everything. All our officials are working well. Listen to what I am saying,” Nitish said on Monday.
Nitish was addressing a meeting after inaugurating a new dental college and hospital at Paithna-Bhagan Bigha village under Rahui block of Nalanda district on Monday. Tejashwi, being the deputy CM-cum-health minister, also was present on the dais.
