Bihar minister and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tej Pratap Yadav on Wednesday has been admitted to Mediversal Hospital in Patna after he complained of chest pain, reported ANI.
Yadav is the brother of Bihar deputy chief minister Tejashwi Yadav. On August 16, 2022, he took oath as a minister in the Bihar cabinet.
Tej Pratap Yadav, the cabinet minister of Environment, Forest, and Climate Change in the Bihar government has consistently made headlines for his commitment to environmental conservation by тАЬriding a bicycleтАЭ. In April, he celebrated the homecoming of his father and RJD supremo, former chief minister of Bihar, Lalu Prasad Yadav, after his kidney transplant by riding a bicycle. He said that he chose this mode of celebration as a way to contribute to environmental preservation.
In February, the RJD leader rode a bicycle to the secretariat, stating that he was inspired by the late Samajwadi Party founder, Mulayam Singh Yadav, whom he saw in a dream. Yadav said that he took inspiration from Mulayam Singh Yadav to use a bicycle to save the environment.
