The 51-year-old owner of the Maserati, Seyed Akbar Hosseini, was with the car in his garage in North Bank Court and suffered minor injuries as he tried to fight off his alleged attackers, who police allege also had a knife.
Another sports car parked in the driveway, a 2017 Porsche Cayenne, was also allegedly damaged.
Police tracked the Maserati 50km from the Gold Coast to Logan using PolAir.
Clayton, from Logan, was arrested after the car, which was seen driving on its wheel rims, crashed.
He has been charged with 12 offences, including: three counts of unlawful use of motor vehicle, two counts each of enter dwelling with intent and armed robbery, and one count each of wilful damage, unlawful possession of weapons, enter premises and commit indictable offence, dangerous conduct with weapon and dangerous operation of a vehicle.
Carter, from South Toowoomba, was arrested in nearby Beenleigh.
She has been charged with seven offences, including: two counts each of enter dwelling with intent and armed robbery, and one count each of enter premises and commit indictable offence, unlawful possession of weapons and unlawful use of motor vehicle.
Police are still searching for a third man seen driving away from the home in a white Mercedes Benz.
