Mumbai, October 9: Tata Punch EV is the most awaited car that is rumoured to launch in India soon. The new electric vehicle for Tata is expected to have new features, design and performance. Tata Motors has already introduced its Tata Punch iCNG model with a price ranging from Rs 7,09,990 lakh (ex-showroom New Delhi). The electric model of the Punch series is likely to have excellent performance and range for a single electric charge.
As per a report of Hindustan Times, Tata Punch EV test mules were spotted on the road many times. However, the car was camouflaged entirely, so the design or looks of the new Punch EV cannot be accurately predicted or known. As per other reports, the new Punch EV from Tata may have better interior design, exterior updates like LED DRLs, fog lamps, and many other changes compared to its iCNG or other Punch series models. According to reports, the new Tata Punch EV will likely come with a 24-26kWh battery that can offer 250-350 kilometres on a full charge. A report says that the new EV model of Punch may generate 74bhp peak power with 114Nm peak torque. According to the same report, the new car may introduce a new 7-inch infotainment, automatic climate control, and cruise control. The Tata Punch EV is rumoured to launch with DC fast-charging support and features like a permanent magnet synchronous motor option. The car may launch with a rear wiper with a washer, alloy wheels, split headlamps and many other design upgrades. Tata Punch EV Expected Price and India Launch:
The new Tata Punch EV is rumoured to launch soon in India, but Tata Motors has yet to confirm the official date. According to reports, the new Tata Punch Electric may launch in November 2023 or 2024. The estimated launch price of the car will likely start from Rs 9.50 to 12.50 lakh. Tata Motors may launch a teaser trailer or photo about the new Tata Punch EV in India soon.
