New Delhi, August 7: Tata Motors has launched its Tata Cuvv SUV Coupe in India today. The new 2024 Tata Curvv lineup comes in three versions – petrol, diesel and electric. Tata Motors Cars confirmed that the ICE models will be powered by the new TGDi Hyperion which was unveiled during Auto Expo 2023. This engine promised a robust performance along with strong road presence offering the customers unmatched driving experience.
Tata Cuvv SUV Coupe, launched in the mid-SUV segment, comes with a premium design and offering sleek and sportier aesthetics. The Indian automobile company said that the new lineup will offer segment-leading performance and design in the mid-SUV segment.
Tata Curvv EV Specifications and Features
Tata Curvv EV, built with Active EV architecture, comes with large 55 kWh and 45 kWh batteries offering longer range. The electric car also comes with faster-charging that tops up the long distance range by topping up 150 km by charging in 15 minutes using 1.2C charging technology. To find the nearby charging stations, the Tata Motos introduced real-time charge aggregator in its app which offer live updates about the chargers and navigation.
In terms of pickup, the Tata Curvv EV powered by the 123 kWh liquid cooled pms motor can achieve 0-100 kmph in 8.6 seconds. The car also supports Arcade.ev system and Advanced OTA for regular updates. For safety, the company has embedded six airbags, all-wheel disc brakes, and more. The EV offers range of 400 to 500 km on a single charge. The new Tata Curvv EV comes with maximum torque of 2,500Nm and maximum 160 kmph (electronically limited).
