Tata Motors has mention in a reply to a comment on its official social media handle, that the Altroz Racer “will be launched soon”, confirming its market arrival in India. Tata Altroz Racer – Design, Specifications & Features :
The Tata Altroz Racer will be positioned at the top of the range of the current Altroz lineup and flaunts and extensive styling upgrades both on the exterior and the interior. However, it is still unknown whether or not the exact same displayed unit from the Auto Expo, going by the latest models from Tata Motors, we can expect the same or very closely resembling actual model to launch.
The Altroz Racer will be getting endowed with a more powerful turbocharged engine, which is the 1.2-litre three-cylinder turbo petrol mill that does the duty under the hood of the Nexon SUV. Upon its market launch in India, the new Tata Altroz Racer will be a direct competitor of the sporty Hyundai i20 N Line.
