Mumbai, January 10: Suzuki Motorcycle India has officially entered the electric two-wheeler market with the highly anticipated launch of the Suzuki e-Access. The new electric scooter, based on Suzuki’s e-Technology platform, marks the company’s entry into the EV segment in India. Bookings for the e-Access are now open across authorised Suzuki dealerships nationwide.
The scooter retains a silhouette reminiscent of the Access 125, with updated styling and modern EV-oriented design cues. Suzuki e-Access Performance and Technology
The e-Access is powered by a 4.1 kW (5.58 bhp) electric motor producing 15 Nm of peak torque. It runs on a 3.07 kWh Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery pack that provides a claimed range of around 95 km on a full charge. The scooter can reach a top speed of about 71 km/h in higher ride modes. It offers three riding modes — Eco, Ride A, and Ride B — along with reverse mode and regenerative braking to extend range in city traffic. Charging from a standard home AC charger takes around 6 hours 42 minutes, while a DC fast charger can charge the battery from 0 to 80 per cent in about 2 hours 12 minutes.

The scooter rides on a lightweight chassis with the battery integrated for stability and handling. It uses 12-inch alloy wheels and a belt drive system claimed to be maintenance-free for long service life. Suzuki e-Access Price in India
The Suzuki e-Access is priced at approximately INR 1.88 lakh (ex-showroom). It is available in four colour options, including a dual-tone Metallic Mat Stellar Blue and Metallic Mat Fibroin Grey. Suzuki is offering ownership benefits such as a 7-year/80,000 km extended warranty, buy-back assurance of up to 60 per cent after three years, loyalty and welcome bonuses, and retail finance plans. The scooter will also be available for purchase via Flipkart once retail sales begin.
