Stunning £200,000 house in Italy to be raffled off – and it could be yours for just £25 – World News

A stunning two-bedroom, two-bathroom townhouse in southern Italy valued at £200,000 is set to be raffled off, and a ticket will cost you just £25.

Competition organisers Jon and Annmarie Nurse, both 45, said it was a “truly life-changing chance” for someone to bag their dream home at a price “anyone could afford”.

The fully furnished townhouse is situated in the beautiful historic seaside town of Pizzo Calabro – also known as ‘the coast of the gods’.

Boasting open plan living, with a dining room and kitchen space, plus a balcony overlooking the sea, the recently renovated property in is just a short stroll from the lively town centre and a beautiful beach and is just 20km away from the airport.

Jon, from Dorset, said: “This could be a truly life-changing opportunity to have your very own Southern Italian townhouse near the beach – and it’s yours to do what you want with it.

“You can live it in and enjoy it – imagine sitting in a nearby piazza sipping an Aperol and sampling the amazing food you get in the traditional restaurants.

“Alternatively, you could rent this home out as a holiday home, or even sell it to give you a great nest egg.”

It comes after the pair raffled off a Tuscan Villa last year that was won by American Brigid Day and raised £50,000 for the Children’s Society.

The charity will benefit from funds raised by the current raffle, as will local children’s hospice Braccio Di Ferro.

Pizzo Calabro is one of the most spectacular characteristic old towns of the Calabrian region.

It retains the typical look of a small town on the seashore, with narrow streets, Piazzas and stunning sea views.

Alongside the beautiful beaches and crystalline sea, the town is one of the most popular destinations during the summer months.

There is a pick of restaurants serving classic Italian and Mediterranean cuisine while intertwining streets are lined with clothing boutiques and Pasticcerias, or cake shops.

The competition will close when all 10,000 tickets have sold – or on September 16.

Tickets are on sale at www.winhousesinitaly.com and a computer-generated winner will be chosen on September 30.
