A sense of panic prevailed on Mumbai bound Gorakhpur-Bandra Terminus Weekly Express (15067) after a passenger on the upper berth of AC-3 tier coach B3 spotted a snake peeping through a small opening in the coach roof. The incident occurred near Gonda Junction in the morning, with the coach being attended to at Lucknow’s Charbagh railway station around 2:20 PM. A viral video on social media showed the snake’s tail emerging from a narrow gap near a passenger’s seat. Passenger Bittu Kumar alerted authorities, leading to a search with no trace of the snake found. To appease anxious passengers, staff sealed the roof openings, and the train continued. However, passengers demanded further action at Kanpur Central station.
