Mumbai, October 5: Skoda has revealed its all-new “gold standard SUV” car, Skoda Kodiaq, with new advanced features. The Czech-based automobile manufacturer has introduced its new second-generation Skoda Kodiaq in India with a plug-in hybrid power option. According to reports, the new car from Skoda comes with sharper front LED headlamps, tri-arrow patterned DRLs, and Skoda’s classic hexagonal grille.
The new Kodiaq from Skoda comes with a unique design and exterior with a fresh look compared to the first-generation model. As per the reports, the new car has an LED light strip that runs to the front end. The company changed its bumper design, and the rear has a connected tail lamp. Kodiaq gets a new interior with a new digital cluster instrument, infotainment system, and other features. The interior of the all-new Skoda Kodiaq comes with a 10.2-inch digital cluster instrument, a 12.9-inch infotainment system, circular dials for controlling AC, a multi-layered good-looking dashboard, and ambient lighting. The new Skoda car includes nine airbags for safety. It offers features like Hill Hold Assist, Electronic Stability Control, wireless charging, ABS with EBD, 32mm colour display on two rotary knobs, and different driving modes.
As per reports, the all-new Skoda Kodiaq offers a powertrain with its plug-in hybrid four-cylinder 1.5-litre petrol engine with an electric motor to generate 204 hp power output. The car has an EV range of up to 100km on a charge with its 25.7kWh battery. According to reports, the battery can be charged to 50kW at public chargers. The reports say that the petrol-engine 1.5-litre engine comes with 48V mild-hybrid technology. It offers a 7-speed DSG gearbox front-wheel drive option. The 2.0-litre turbo petrol can produce up to 204 hp, and it comes with an all-wheel drive option with its 7-speed DSG gearbox. Skoda Kodiaq India Expected Launch and Price:
As per reports, the new Skoda Kodiaq will be available in India by 2024. The reports say that the new Kodiaq is expected to come with a price of Rs 50 lakh to 55 lakh. Skoda may publish more details on the second-generation Kodiaq car with new features and design upgrades soon.
