Shama Sikander Recalls a ‘Superstar’ Once Made Her Uncomfortable During Jewellery Advertisement Shoot, Reveals He Improvised a Scene To Hug Her

Shama Sikander Recalls Being Uncomfortable During Ad Shoot

In a recent interview with Bollywood Bubble, Shama Sikander recalled that a ‘superstar’ had once improvised during a jewellery ad shoot to touch her inappropriately. Speaking about the incident, the actress said, “Vo scene tha nahi usme and I think he really wanted to hug me for some reason.” According to Sikander, the hug was unnecessary during the scene, and the actor got it deliberately changed in order to hug her.

Continuing about the incident, she said, “Logon ki vibe hoti hai vaisi.” (Some people have that vibe), stating that people often have a vibe that you can sense which hints at their intentions. During the jewellery ad shoot, the other actor insisted on improvising the scene, which would eventually allow him to hug the actress in the end. He said, “Mai aaunga yaha see au aur meri biwi ko gehne pehnaunga aur fir mai isko hug karunga.” Calling the horrifying experience as something new to her, Sikander said, “I have worked with so many people. I have many guy friends, and they have never made me feel that way. It was very shocking and weird for me. I thought he was a superstar, why does he need to do all these things?” She vowed never to work with the actor again.

In the same interview, Shama Sikander also mentioned that she was never involved in a casting couch situation; however, she revealed that people indirectly hinted at certain things during her interaction with them. She also revealed that she once got replaced while working on a big movie after the actor didn’t turn up for the shoot. She said, “I was shocked. On the work front, Shama Sikander was last seen in the 2019 film Bypass Road. The movie also featured Neil Nitin Mukesh and Adah Sharma in key roles.
