New satellite images have shown more Russian troops have been dispatched to the border with Ukraine, sparking fears of an imminent invasion.
The images show equipment has also been sent to key locations where fighting forces have been deployed, some of which stands as close as eight miles from the border.
The pictures were released by satellite imagery firm Maxar Technologies and show Russian armoured military vehicles, tents used by troops and tanks, some of which are stored in a military training area near the border.
It comes as fears continue to build that Moscow is plotting an invasion into Ukraine, with US President Joe Biden warning he believes an attack is тАЬ imminent тАЭ.
Russian officials have repeatedly denied the nation plans to invade Ukraine, despite having 100,000 troops stationed near the border.
Talks were held today between US Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Russian Sergei Lavrov and were described as “frank”.

President Biden warned Russia will be met with a тАЬswift, severe and united responseтАЭ if they move in.
He said: “Russia will be held accountable if it invades – and it depends on what it does.
тАЬIt’s one thing if it’s a minor incursion and we end up having to fight about what to do and what to not do, et cetera.

Press secretary Jen Psaki added: “If any Russian military forces move across the Ukrainian border, that’s a renewed invasion, and it will be met with a swift, severe, and united response from the United States and our allies.тАЭ
Ukrainian troops are manned along a 250-mile trench in case of attack by Russian forces.

They will be boosted by a “small number” of UK troops who have been sent to train local soldiers preparing for possible invasion, says Defence Secretary Ben Wallace.
They will be deployed under Operation Orbital, the UK’s training mission to Ukraine which was established in 2015 following RussiaтАЩs illegal annexation of the Crimea.
Mr Wallace told the Commons: “In light of the increasingly threatening behaviour from Russia and in addition to our current support, the UK is providing a new security assistance package to increase Ukraine’s defensive capabilities.

“We have taken the decision to supply Ukraine with light anti-armour defensive weapons systems.
“A small number of UK personnel will provide early-stage training for a short period of time, within the framework of Operation Orbital, before returning to the United Kingdom.
“This security assistance package complements the training capabilities Ukraine already has and those that are also being provided by the UK and other allies in Europe and the United States.тАЭ
