The chargesheet reportedly identifies five members of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang: Dhananjay Tapsingh (alias Ajay Kashyap, 28), Gautam Vinod Bhatia (29), Vaspi Mehmood Khan (alias China, 36), Rizwan Hassan (alias Javed Khan, 25), and Deepak Hawasingh (alias John Walmiki, 30). Notably, Hawasingh faces charges of criminal conspiracy, abetment and criminal intimidation.
Further, chilling details from the chargesheet expose the extent of the plot. The accused allegedly sought to acquire deadly weapons – AK-47s, AK-92s, M-16s and a Zigana pistol (like the one used in Sidhu Moosewala’s murder) – all the way from Pakistan. Furthermore, the gang reportedly offered a hefty Rs 25 lakh for Khan’s assassination. The chargesheet also reveals a disturbing level of surveillance – Khan’s movements were allegedly tracked extensively.
