As per latest update in the Salman Khan house firing case, the Navi Mumbai Police have filed a chargesheet against five arrested members of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. This document lays bare a meticulously planned assassination attempt against the Bollywood superstar. The chargesheet goes beyond the April 2024 gunfire incident at Khan’s residence. It details a sinister plot inspired by the recent murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala. The gang allegedly aimed to replicate that brutal attack, acquiring sophisticated weapons from Pakistan. The chargesheet reportedly identifies five members of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang: Dhananjay Tapsingh (alias Ajay Kashyap, 28), Gautam Vinod Bhatia (29), Vaspi Mehmood Khan (alias China, 36), Rizwan Hassan (alias Javed Khan, 25), and Deepak Hawasingh (alias John Walmiki, 30). Notably, Hawasingh faces charges of criminal conspiracy, abetment and criminal intimidation.

Further, chilling details from the chargesheet expose the extent of the plot. The accused allegedly sought to acquire deadly weapons – AK-47s, AK-92s, M-16s and a Zigana pistol (like the one used in Sidhu Moosewala’s murder) – all the way from Pakistan. Furthermore, the gang reportedly offered a hefty Rs 25 lakh for Khan’s assassination. The chargesheet also reveals a disturbing level of surveillance – Khan’s movements were allegedly tracked extensively. The gunmen, it seems, awaited final orders from Anmol Bishnoi and Goldy Brar, kingpins of the Bishnoi gang.
