A 43-year-old clothing businessman filed a complaint against the salesgirl at his shop in Bengaluru for allegedly extorting Rs. 43 lakhs from him, a Times of India report stated. The accused allegedly filmed the intimate moments of her and the shop owner to threaten him for money.
According to the report, a case has been filed against the sales girl and her two brothers who allegedly planned the entire plot. She joined the apparel store of the businessman in February 2020. She later claimed that her brother had met with an accident and she was in need of money. The owner of the shop reportedly gave her Rs. 2 lakhs and the accused failed to return the money.
The report also said that the owner later had an affair with the accused and her brother secretly filmed their private moments on a mobile phone. They later showed the videos to the owner and threatened to leak them online. They demanded Rs. 8 lakhs from the shop owner and he transferred the amount to the accused.
However, the accused continued to threaten the businessman with the filmed videos and allegedly extorted almost Rs. 35 lakhs from him. On Saturday, the victim filed a police complaint at Bengaluru’s Upparpet station and cops are investigating the matter.
