The two first met on the sets of Fukrey in 2012. Richa Chadha aced the character of Bholi Punjaban which is now a cult in modern Bollywood films. Ali Fazal was also an integral part of the comedy. It seems they bonded instantly and their friendship grew stronger by the day. From 2015, they began to date. This was revealed by a close friend before their wedding.
