Dindori, August 16: A group of women tied Rakhi and applied mehndi (henna) to Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav who arrived here to attend ‘Raksha Bandhan and Sawan Utsav’ program in the district on Friday. CM Yadav also sang the songs which are sung during the auspicious sawan month by sitting along with the women on the occasion. Besides, the women handed a large Raksha Bandha to the chief minister on the stage.

Along with this, the chief minister also performed the bhoomi pujan and inauguration (digitally) of 38 development works worth Rs 147.80 crores in the district. “Today I have come to Dindori district on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Rani Avanti Bai Lodhi. During this, I performed Bhoomi Pujan and inauguration of development works worth Rs 147.80 lakhs and also made announcements of various works.
