The Queensland Premier and Chief Health Officer have been criticised for not leading the state’s vaccination rollout.
Annastacia Palaszczuk and Dr Jeannette Young are yet to receive a dose despite being eligible making Ms Palaszczuk the only Premier over the age of 50 who hasn’t received a vaccine.
A Queensland Health study found 40 per cent of people were unlikely to get the shot.
It’s understood their hesitancy stems from concerns about potential side effects, including blood clots.
