Queen Elizabeth has made her first official appearance since the funeral of her husband Prince Philip.
With the official royal mourning period over, Her Majesty held two audiences at Buckingham Palace virtually from Windsor Castle on Tuesday, April 27, 2021.
The Queen received two new ambassadors, Ivita Burmistre from Latvia and Sara Affoué Amani from Côte d’Ivoirem, via video link.
In images released by the palace, Her Majesty appeared smiling in a floral frock as she received the two women.
“There are more than 170 Ambassadors and High Commissions based in London. Each have an Audience of The Queen shortly after taking up their role,” the official Royal Family account said on Twitter.
