Puducherry Horror: Minor Girl From Mumbai Raped by Auto Driver, Abducted by Techies and Sexually Assaulted Again; 4 Arrested

Chennai, November 7: A 16-year-old girl from Mumbai visiting Puducherry with her parents for Diwali celebrations became the victim of a horrific gang-rape by an auto-rickshaw driver and later by a group of tourists in Puducherry. The incident unfolded on October 30 when the girl, after an argument with her mother, left her relative’s house and boarded an auto driven by Kaja Mohideen, an auto driver from Kotakuppam in Villupuram.

The girl asked Mohideen to take her to tourist spots, but instead, he took her to his house, plied her with alcohol and raped her. The next morning, he dropped her at Auroville. Shivpuri Shocker: Brother Rapes Minor Girl After She Informs Him About Rape by Father For Nearly 2 Years in Madhya Pradesh.

While wandering, the girl was spotted by three tourists, all techies from Chennai, who befriended her and offered her a lift to Chennai. Upon reaching the city, the tourists confined her to a room, provided her with liquor, and took turns raping her for two days. On November 2, they sent her back to Puducherry in a cab, where she was dropped on Beach Road. Hyderabad Horror: 3 Men From Uttar Pradesh ‘Rape’ Elderly Woman Under Pretext of Offering Her Work.

The girl was discovered by the Grand Bazaar police after receiving a tip about a girl loitering on Beach Road. She was weak and unable to explain her ordeal, and was immediately admitted to JIPMER for treatment. A team from the child welfare committee began inquiries after she recovered, confirming she was under treatment for a personality disorder.

Police arrested Mohideen on November 5 and later apprehended three of the tourists involved-one from Andhra Pradesh and two from Odisha-based on CCTV footage. The search for the remaining suspects continues. The police have not released the names of the arrested individuals, as they are still tracking down the remaining culprits.
