Mumbai, October 23: Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra filed her nomination for the Wayanad Lok Sabha by-election 2024 on Wednesday, October 23, after a massive roadshow in Kalpetta. Priyanka Gandhi Vadra declared assets in her nomination for the upcoming Wayanad bypoll. As per his affidavit filed from Wayanad, Priyanka Gandhi has total assets worth over INR 18 crore.
Of these, Gandhi has movable assets worth INR 4.24 crore, and immovable property is valued at around Rs 13.14 crore. Priyanka purchased a property worth INR 1.09 crore and spent INR 5.05 crore on construction after purchase. Gandhi has inherited immovable assets worth INR 2.10 crore. Gandhi also declared liabilities worth INR 15.75 lakh in her election affidavit. Priyanka Gandhi’s Annual Income
Priyanka Gandhi has declared her annual income for the Financial Year 2023-24 to the sum of INR 46.39 lakh. Gandhi earned INR 47.21 lakh in the FY 2022-23. The Wayanad bypoll was necessary after Rahul Gandhi vacated the seat and chose Rae-Bareili after the Lok Sabha Elections 2024. Priyanka will be contesting against LDF’s Sathyan Mokeri and BJP’s Navya Haridas. Voting in Wayanad will be held on November 13.
