Prisoners Receive Education In Central Jail
Satna (Madhya Pradesh): The prisoners in the Satna central jail are imparted education so that after coming out of the prison they may earn a living. The jail authorities are conducting classes to educate them. Those who are in prison for a long time are helping their counterparts to learn three R’s of education.
Jail superintendent Abhimanyu Pandey said a special campaign to educate the prisoners had been launched. There are many prisoners who even do not know how to sign, so it causes troubles to the prisoners as well as the jail authorities, he said.
Keeping that in mind, the authorities have launched a special drive to educate the prisoners, Pandey said, adding that exercise books, slates, pencils and books have been given to them. The jail administration wants to educate every prisoner who can join classes held in different barracks, he said.
400 Patients Registered For Urology Camp
Sant Hirdaram Nagar (Madhya Pradesh): Over 418 patients have registered their names for free treatment and surgeries in the 100th free urology camp being held in Sewa Sadan Eye Hospital, Sant Hirdaram Nagar. The patients include 311men, 107 women and 19 children.
To help more patients of urology, the period for registration has been extended by two more days. They can also register their names on Tuesday and Wednesday from 10 am to 4 pm.
Dr Amar Singh, a well-known urologist from the U SA, will operate patients free of cost. Eminent urologists of the country like Dr Jitendra Amlani and Dr Amish Mehta from Rajkot and many others from different parts of the country will treat the patients.
