Pan-India star Prabhas celebrates his 45th birthday today (October 23). The Bahubali actor was born in 1979 to Telugu producer Uppalapati Surya Narayan Raju and Siva Kumari in Chennai. Making his acting debut in 2002 with Eeshwar, he went on to star in a number of hit films, including Billa ( 2009), Darling (2010), Mirchi (2013), Bahubali: The Begining (2015) and Bahubali: The Conclusion (2017) among others. Ahead of the Rebel Star’s birthday, the makers of the upcoming film released a stylish poster of the actor on October 21, raising excitement levels among fans. ‘Spirit’
Probably the most highly awaited movie in the lineup, Prabhas’ Spirit has garnered huge hype among fans, already raising the expectation levels with barely any updates regarding it. Helmed by Arjun Reddy fame director Sandeep Reddy Vanga who grabbed the headlines last year for his controversial yet hit film Animal starring Ranbir Kapoor. If reports are to be trusted, Prabhas plays a cop in Spirit promising an action-packed experience to fans. It will be interesting to see how Sandeep Reddy Vang utilises Prabhas’ acting abilities for the film.
‘Salaar: Part 2’
After the massive success of the 2023 action film Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire, Sandalwood director Prashanth Neel and Prabhas are once again joining hands for the much-awaited sequel. Fans loved Prabhas’ action-packed avatar as Deva in the first movie as he wages a battle against the sinister forces in the dystopian city of Khansaar. There are not many recent updates regarding the film. However, the first official confirmation for the sequel came from producer Vijay Kiragandur in December 2023, soon after the first part was released.
