Pawan Singh Expelled From BJP: Saffron Party Expels Bhojpuri Singer for Contesting Election from Karakat Lok Sabha Seat Against NDA Candidate
The Bihar unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has expelled Bhojpuri singer Pawan Singh for contesting the Lok Sabha elections as an independent candidate. This move comes as Singh decided to run against the official candidate of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA). Singh had previously announced his decision to contest from the Karakat Lok Sabha constituency as an independent candidate. Earlier, Pawan Singh withdrew his name from the Lok Sabha poll contest from Asansol seat in West Bengal just a day after the BJP named him as its candidate from the constituency currently represented by Trinamool Congress’s Shatrughan Sinha.
