Her parents are now grappling with the loss of their beloved daughter.

“For her to be taken so early, 21 is just too young,” father Darren said.

“She should be burying us not the other way around.”

Her mother Julie said she doesn’t know how she will cope without her only daughter.

“She’s my world. She’s my only child. She made me a mum,” Ms Sheriff said.

Police told 9News today they’re still investigating the accident.

Sheriff had only just bought her new car and recently turned 21. Her mum said she had big aspirations for the new year.

“She wanted to travel. She says’ I’m going to concentrate on me now mum’,” Ms Sheriff said.

“Because that’s all she ever did – was put everyone first.

“We will never be the same again.”
