Over a dozen people were injured after an overspeeding car ran through a crowd in Bihar’s Saran district Saturday night. The people who got injured in the accident were reportedly having a funeral feast on the roadside.
Police officers reached the site after angry locals protested the accident by blocking the main road, reported news agency ANI.
The injured were rushed to a nearby hospital.
According to the villagers, the driver was in an inebriated condition. Further details awaited.
