HYDERABAD: Telugu Desam Party (TDP) founder and former Andhra Pradesh CM N T Rama RaoтАЩs youngest daughter Uma Maheshwari was found hanging from the ceiling of her bedroom in HyderabadтАЩs posh Jubilee Hills neighbourhood on Monday. Although no suicide note was found, police suspect depression drove the 57-year-old to end her life.
Uma, known to be the most reclusive among the late NTRтАЩs four daughters, had always shunned limelight. She is survived by her husband, who was away at the time of her death, and two daughters.
The body was sent to Osmania General Hospital for autopsy, after which UmaтАЩs family donated her eyes. NTRтАЩs son-in-law and TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu dropped by to offer his condolences.
