Nova Scotia RCMP says it is experiencing 911 line technical difficulties across the province.
RCMP said in a tweet Tuesday morning people should contact local emergency services such as police, fire and other services directly.

Nova Scotia’s Emergency Management Office says in case of an emergency people can call the following numbers depending where they are in the province:
1-902-490-5020 for Halifax Regional Municipality
1-902-563-5151 Cape Breton Regional Municipality
1-800-803-7267 for mainland Nova Scotia, excluding HRM, Cape Breton Island and Kentville
1-902-678-2100 for Kentville
