Nissan X-Trail India Launch Tomorrow; Check Expected Price, Features and Specifications of Toyota Fortuner, Mahindra XUV700 Rival

New Delhi, July 31: The Fourth-Generation Nissan X-Trail will be introduced in India on August 1, 2024 (tomorrow) as a CBU and feature a 12V mild-hybrid technology. The Nissan X-Trail 7-seater booking officially opened a week ago. The car is available for pre-booking at a token amount of INR 1 lakh. Now, the highly anticipated X-Trail will get its official price revealed tomorrow. 

With the Nissan X-Trail, the Japanese automobile company will resurrect the “X-Trail” nameplate after nearly a decade of hiatus in the Indian market. The all-new X-Trail will be based on the CMF-C platform and have a three-row configuration. The 2024 Nissan X-Trail will feature a signature-style dark chromed V-Motion grille on the front, split-style headlights, and diamond-cut alloy wheels. Other features include rounded wheel arches featuring plastic cladding and wrap-around LED headlights. The car will have the following measurements: 4,680mm in length, 1,840mm in width, 1,720mm in height, and a wheelbase of 2,705mm. The Nissan X-Trail 2024 model will also offer 205mm of ground clearance. 

The all-new Nissan X-Trail will come with a first-of-its-kind 1.5-litre VCT (Variable Compression Turbo) engine. With this engine, the car is expected to put out a maximum of 201hp power and up to 305Nm peak torque. Additionally, the SUV will offer a 12V Mild Hybrid ALiS (Advanced Lithium-ion battery System). For safety, the upcoming X-Trail will offer seven airbags, a 360-degree camera, an electronic parking brake with auto-hold, front and rear parking sensors, rain-sensing wipers, and a TPMS (tyre pressure monitoring system).  It will boast a 40-litre fuel tank capacity. The all-new Nissan X-Trail will go against the cars in the segment, including Toyota Fortuner, Mahindra XUV700, MG Gloster and others. The Nissan X-Trail price in India is expected to start from INR 30 lakh to 40 lakh.
