Nissan Magnite Facelift Interior Teased; Tata Nexon Rival To Get Bigger Touchscreen Infotainment Unit, Dual-Tone Cabin
Mumbai, October 1: Japanese automaker Nissan Motors has already confirmed the India launch date for the Magnite facelift, which is scheduled to happen on October 4. The carmaker is accepting bookings for the updated avatar of its best-selling SUV for a token amount of INR 11,000. Deliveries are scheduled to begin the following day, October 5. As we approach the launch, Nissan has dropped another teaser of the subcompact SUV giving us the first glimpse of the cabin for the first time, revealing key details ahead of the launch.
As seen in the teaser, the upcoming 2025 Nissan Magnite facelift’s interior will see slight tweaks, making way for a black-brown theme giving an upmarket appeal to the cabin. Another addition would be a bigger touchscreen display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. However, the SUV could retain elements from its predecessor, including the dashboard and center console. Other features that Nissan could equip the Magnite Facelift with are a sunroof, steering-mounted controls, a push start/stop button, a 360-degree surround camera, automatic climate control, rear AC vents, and a center armrest for the front passengers. Aesthetically, Tata Nexon Rival will sport cosmetic changes on the front, side and rear profiles, as per the recent exterior teaser. Mechanically, the SUV is said to retain the same 1.0-litre naturally aspirated and 1.0-litre turbo petrol engines. Transmission options will include a 5-speed manual, a 5-speed AMT and a CVT unit. The price for the 2025 Nissan Magnite facelift could start around INR 6.5 lakh, and go up to INR 11 lakh (ex-showroom). When launched, the facelift Nissan Magnite will compete with Renault Kiger, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon and the likes in the subcompact SUV segment.
