A newlywed singer has died after falling from a 5th floor hotel balcony into the pool below.
Married singer Kevin Nascimento Bueno, 23, was reportedly trying to jump into the swimming pool below when the tragedy happened in the Brazilian city of Rio de Janeiro.
Footage shows how his audibly distressed friends surround the critically injured man as they wait for paramedics to arrive on the scene.
One of them can be seen crouching by the victim and heard saying: “Hey, Kevin, hey, Kevin, talk to us, f****t! Breathe, breathe, please, brother!”
Another can be heard crying in distress while repeating “don’t talk to me!” to another friend who tries to console him.
The first man can then be heard saying “he’s breathing, call an ambulance!” before praying: “Keep him with me because you know of the lives that depend on him! You know, o Father!”
Kevin, known as MC Kevin, suffered several fractures in the fall and was taken to hospital in the Brazilian city of Rio de Janeiro.
He passed away after suffering two cardiac arrests on the night of May 16.
The ‘funk paulista’ artist’s friends and wife of just two weeks, Deolane Bezerra, all gave evidence to the police on May 17.
The police’s initial suspicion is that the victim, known professionally as MC Kevin, had tried to jump into the hotel’s swimming pool for a dare.
However, an online rumour also suggested he fell while trying to sneak away from his wife, who had knocked on the door of the room he was allegedly in with other women.
