Mumbai Horror: Man Sexually Assaults Toddler Step-Daughter, Allegedly Inserts Belan Into Her Private Parts Before Strangulating Her to Death in Mankhurd, Arrested
Mumbai, November 11: In a horrifying incident, a man allegedly raped his minor step-daughter and then strangulated her death in Mumbai’s Mankhurd. The Mumbai Police arrested the accused on Friday evening, November 8. It is alleged that the accused reportedly inserted a belan (rolling pin) into the minor victim’s private parts before killing her.
As per the report published by The Indian Express, the 25-year-old accused works as a driver in Mumbai. The girl’s mother, 25, divorced her husband to marry the accused. The victim was her daughter from the first marriage. The victim’s mother, who works as a house help, was horrified when she found her daughter unconscious at her home on Thursday, November 7.

As per the report, the victim girl was alone at her home as her mother went to work. The accused, upon finding the girl alone, started beating her. He later sexually assaulted her and gagged her. He did not stop there. The accused then inserted a belan, which is used to flatten the chapati or roti, into the victim’s private parts.
Accused Comes Up With Fake Story to Hide Murder
Following this, the accused conceived a story and told the girl’s mother over a phone call that a wooden block fell on her. After this, the girl’s mother rushed home and brought the victim to a nearby hospital along with the accused. Unfortunately, the girl was declared dead.
When the doctor informed the couple about injuries to her private parts, the mother confronted the accused. Suspecting her second husband’s role in the murder of her doctor, the woman filed a complaint against him. Based on her complaint, the police detained and interrogated him. During quizzing, the accused confessed to killing her and said he did so as he thought his wife could not commit to their relationship for a long time because of her daughter.
A case has been registered against the accused under sections 103, 64, 65, 66, and 238 of the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023, and under various sections of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
