These are the last images of a 21-year-old Brazilian model which she shared with her mother shortly before she vanished while on a riverboat trip, with her body only found the next day.
The body of Yasmin Cavaleiro de Macedo was found floating in the Maguari River near the city of Belem in the Brazilian state of Para on Monday after she went missing on the evening of the day before.
During the afternoon, the victim shared photos and video clips she took during the boat trip, including these pictures which she shared with her mum.
At around 10pm, the model and student of veterinary medicine spoke with her mother on the phone. An hour later, the mother learned that her daughter had disappeared during the boat trip and travelled to the area to assist with the search.

After firefighters found the young woman’s body the following day, the police said: “All the appropriate procedures are being carried out, including organising the autopsy, which will establish the cause of the woman’s death.”
The case is being investigated by the local police and the Eastern Amazon Ports Authority (CPAOR) to “find out possible causes and those responsible for what happened”.
One theory is that she fell from the boat, however, the authorities did not say how many people were on the trip and whether they were wearing life vests.
In the videos, the 21-year-old model is seen posing in sunglasses and a bikini while enjoying the sunny afternoon on the boat.
Another clip shows the Maguari River at sunset as music plays in the background.
The investigation into the model’s mysterious death is ongoing.
