New Delhi, October 9: Mercedes-Benz India has launched its all-new Mercedes-Benz E-Class luxury car in India at INR 78.5 lakh (ex-showroom). The new E-Class is only available in long-wheelbase configuration (LWB) and is available in three variants—E 200, E 220d priced at INR 81.5 lakh and E 450 priced at INR 92.5 lakh—both ex-showroom prices. The all-new Mercedes-Benz E-Class has a notable design upgrade compared to its predecessor. It has a 1,493mm height, 5,092mm length, and 1,880mm length, along with a 3,094mm wheelbase. The front-end styling differentiates the car from the previous model. It offers a larger grille surrounded by a gloss black panel, new headlamps with DRLs, tail lamps with a three-arrow pattern, a 3D logo, flush door handles, and 18-inch wheels. Mercedes-Benz E-Class 2024 Specifications and Features
Mercedes-Benz E-Class 2024 has three variants featuring different powertrain options. The E 200 gets a 2.0-litre petrol engine capable of putting out a maximum of 195 bhp power. The E 220d is available with a 2.0-litre diesel engine generating 220 bhp maximum power. The top variant, E 450, comes with a 3.0-litre six-cylinder engine that can provide 370 bhp power and 500 Nm of peak torque. The car will get a nine-speed automatic gearbox as default. On the other hand, the interior of the 2024 Mercedes-Benz E-Class includes several key features like a 14.4-inch central touchscreen infotainment, a 12.3-inch instrument panel and a 12.3-inch passenger screen. Besides, it offers MBUX Superscreen in the E 450 variant. The car has four-zone climate control, motorised rear sunblinds, a panoramic sunroof and a 4D Burmester sound system with 730W output. The luxury sedan also offers 64-colour ambient lighting inside. The car has a 36-degree recliner seat for passengers and a comfortable neck pillow.
